Blogging Assignment #8

Answer the following questions in complete sentences.

1. What is voice? What makes a voice unique? How would you describe your writing voice?

Voice is the tone of your writing. It is the emotion that the writer wants to show. Every voice is different because everyone all have different emotions. I think I have a very weak voice in writing. I'm not sure how well I express my emotions when I write, so I never get a strong grade in writing.

2. Pretend you are an object in the classroom such desk, pencil, chair, the teacher's shoe, anything! Imagine yourself having a bad day as this object. Write a 500 word narrative describing your bad day from the object's perspective.

First, I didn't mean to do the same topic as the example.

Today, it was the worst day of my life in my short few years of being a laptop. I’ve been in many bad moment. I was in a factory trying to put me in boxes, trapped in storage rooms for a long time, was unused for a long time, but today felt like the worst. I think the overload of work is getting on me, I have to run so much programs, I have turn on his music, check for viruses, write his work. I do everything for him!! Why do I have to show him movies and basketball games, is it my job to make him happy? I thought I was just helping him do his work..

First, my owner was eating candy while doing his writing project, and it was one of the really sticky sour ones, and sour candy is usually sticky because of the sugar covering the jelly, so I had to be contacted by his sticky, licked hands. It felt so bad and disgusting because I feel wet and sticky at the same time. After that, he starts sneezing like crazy, and he doesn’t he clean himself before typing again. Doesn't he know what personal hygiene is? Doesn't he know that he should sanitize his hands with hand sanitizer before he starts to type on his computer? The mixture of candy and germs was very unpleasant.

Another thing that he did to me is, he dropped me! He dropped me from at least a meter! How can he drop a laptop, doesn't he knows that laptops like us really needs to be careful with shock? At least he has fast hands so he at least saved me before I would crash right into the ground without any resistance. Most of our laptops are weak and need safe care, we would crash into pieces if we got dropped.

In the end, he even put me in the steaming car because he had to go do sports. I hate hot weather, I get heated up so easily. I think I can explode if it goes over the limit. I had very little battery and I just waited until I could get charged by my cable.I hate when I have to restart my self. I have to do so many things before I can, and it takes a lot of time. He didn't come until the evenings, and all he does is complain why I didn't have any battery and I have to wait until you upload. That guy is getting in my nuts these days.

Right now, I want to avenge on him so bad, I feel like I want to just get a virus and just mess up all his work, and then enjoy watching suffer for doing everything on me. I'm sure that he's going to get swine flue for being such an unsanitized person. I also hope that I won't received the treatment that I had received today or I'd rather just break myself up so I don't see him again. Today was the absolutely worst day.
